The first weapons in the game are heavily engraved Colt MK IV Series 70s. They appear to be Series 70s judging by the medallions on the wood grips. It should be noted that these can be mixed and matched with other pistols and SMGs when dual wielding as they are a one handed class weapon. Identically engraved guns were used in the previous game and were gifted to Jackie by Mike during the intro.
These guns have been used through the games as Jackie's primary weapons and the only default weapons the player will use when out of ammo for other guns. In the loading cutscenes for both games, Jackie is seen only holding these guns showing that they at least hold some value to him; the sequel makes these engraved pistols the standard handgun for everyone. This was possibly a technical limitation as there are very few, if not any other engraved guns in the series.
